Important Dates to Remember
Dance Camps
Our annual Summer Dance Camp will run from July 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 from 9am to noon each day. Please contact Rose to sign up or for more information.
Competitions
We have had a great start to our competitive year. Our first competition of the year was held at the Markham Fairgrounds at the end of January. It was the first competition for three of our beginner dancers and they were very successful. Congratulations! Also congratulations to all of our dancers who competed.

Saturday, May 7th, London Feis - open and accepting entries http://www.forestcityfeis.com/
Saturday May 14th, Mae & Paddy Butler Memorial Feis which I have heard may be held at the Markham Fairgrounds
Saturday June 4th Buffalo Feis - a great feis and really not that far - good shopping too
Saturday June 11th Greater Toronto Feis, which is usually held in Brampton
Saturday June 18th Kathleen Fearon Memorial Feis, which I am waiting on venue confirmation (usually Mississauga)
Fall Registration
Registration nights are Monday August 30th and/or Thursday September 2nd
You can also register anytime during the month of August by mailing you cheque and registration form to Rose.
Check the Dancers and Parents section for list of class dates for September 2010 to January 2011.

Oireachtas Information
Keep an eye on your email in the upcoming week for information regarding Oireachtas solos and teams as well as workshops and extra classes.
This year's Oireachtas is being held on November 12, 13 and 14 at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa. Room reservations can be made through the following link http://www.starwoodmeeting.com/StarGroupsWeb/res?id=1002122330&key=63C99 or by calling Westin’s Central Reservation Office at 1-800-WESTIN -1 AND identifying yourself as a member of the Group Event: “2010 Eastern Canadian Oireachtas”.

Nationals 2010
Congratulations to Shannon Anderson (Girls Under 13) and Samantha O'Brian (Girls Under 9) who represented Johnson Dance at at the North American Irish Dance Championships in Orlando, Florida over the July long weekend.
